Scary Movie
Back ground:
Are you ready to be shocked, surprised, revolted and just a little titillated by the ballsiest, grossest, triple X splatter satire to ever get past the ratings board?
No movie is too sacred.. No taboo is too profane.. No star is too highly paid to get past having the almighty piss taken out of them.
From Scream to Dawson's Creek, from The Matrix to The Sixth Sense, from The Blair Witch Project to American Pie+ if there's a memorable movie moment, then SCARY MOVIE brings it back to life, stabs it in the back and twists the knife around.
Those masters of irreverence, the Wayans Brothers (I'm Gonna Git You Sucka) put a dope-smoking masked serial killer, a camp football hero, a chastity belt wearing virgin, a transgender sports coach, a 'doofy' cop, a horny TV reporter, Carmen Electra and "the funniest ejaculation scene since "There's Something About Mary" (The Age) together and mixes them around in this spoof with more spoof.
TRIVIA: The script for Scary Movie is actually a combination of two scripts Dimension Films bought in 1998: "Last Summer I Screamed Because Halloween Fell On Friday The 13th" written by the Wayans brothers and Phil Beauman; and "Scream If You Know What I Did Last Halloween" by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. The latter was the working title for this project.
Release Date: 14/03/2001
Genre: Comedy
Stars: Jon Abrahams , Anna Faris , Carmen Electra
Writer: The Wayans
Director: Keenen Ivory Wayans
Producer: Eric L. Gold & Lisa Blum
Year of Production: 2000
Studio: Miramax
Rating: MA

" Little Red Riding Hood is a classic Brothers Grimm story but there's more to every tale than meets the eye. Before you judge a book by it's cover, you've got to flip through the pages. In the retelling of this classic fable, the story begins at the end of the tale and winds its way back.
Chief Grizzly (voice of Xzibit) and Detective Bill Stork (voice of Anthony Anderson) investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's (voice of Glenn Close) cottage, involving a karate-kicking Red Riding Hood (voice of Anne Hathaway) and an oafish Woodsman (voice of Jim Belushi).
The charges are many: breaking and entering, disturbing the peace, intent to eat, wielding an axe without a licence and more. But before the charges can be dealt with, the unusual suspects have their stories to tell. And then there's the question of whether the case is tied to the elusive "Goody Bandit" who has been stealing recipes from goody shops everywhere. "
- Genre: Family, Animated
- Rating: G
-Release Date: 03 Aug 06
-Running Time: 81 minutes
-Main Cast: Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close, James Belushi, Anthony Anderson, Patrick Warburton
-Director: Tony Leech, Todd Edwards, Cory Edwards
