School Is Not So Cool


School , school , school
A school is not so cool
We're here 5 days a week
8 hrs a day.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
People laugh when we fall
we just have to make a call.
School, School, School
A school is not so cool.
We have to work hard to get good grades
I'm not going to do it no more
I do it everyday.
We cant go on the grass
We cant bother another class
We cant save spots at lunch
We have to go as a bunch.
We have 3 minutes in the hall
I'm always late what a ball.
We have to pay attention
if not we get detention.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
They have to many rules
they play us as fools
if we get A's
the parents jump Hip Hip Hooray.
If we get F's
we tell them we need to take a rest.
We always have homework
we never have classwork
they have to many rules
they need to take it cool.
School, School, School,
A school is so not cool! !

I Still Love You

I heard your old song again,
and for the first time I didn't cry.
I held onto the tears inside,
although I had to really try.
I still love you,
but as more times pass,
I'm beginning to realize
that my love cannot forever last.
My love for you is not getting loved back,
and I can't go on with too much pain
because my stress and sadness
is breaking through my heart and veins.
I wish you'd still love me,
I wish we'd still be together,
just like you told me it would be,
until the time of forever.
Unfortunately, you broke your promise.
Now I'm crying out a million tears.
I've lost your love and gentle touch,
and that was my biggest fear.
If God granted me a wish,
I'd wish to dream of you forever
so I could forever smile,
and ask him to wake me up never.
Now you're in a new relationship,
and I see you're happy without me.
I just have to face the fact
that that's the way you want it to be.
I have to realize she keeps you happy,
even though it drives me crazy and insane.
Maybe I didn't make you happy,
so I guess our break-up has me to blame.
So, stay happy and don't worry about me.
I know I'll get over you soon.
I just hope we stay close friends,
just like the stars and the moon.
In the future always remember how much I loved you.
I just hope and pray
that in a little place in your heart
I will always stay.


Yesterday

I thought about you yesterday
And tears ran down my face
As I remembered all the memories
That can never be erased

Though it was two years ago
Every now and then
Something makes me think of you
And of what might have been

I remember all the good times
The laughter and the tears
Memories that warm my heart
When I look back on those happy years

But every time I remember
My heart begins to ache
Those special times weren't real for you
Your smile was just a fake

You thought that no one loved you
Your heart was breaking inside
Your soul was crying tears
That you tried so desperately to hide

And then I remember that morning
The words ring in my head
"Sit down, we have bad news for you,
Keri, Devin's dead"

I wept so bitterly over you
I cried for your hurt inside
I knew it was no accident
I knew you committed suicide

I cried that you had hurt so much
And cried that you died alone
I cried because I blamed myself
I cried because I should have known

It's been a couple years
I get stronger as time goes by
I try to put the past behind me
And forget you chose to die

But then something makes me think of you
And of that tragic day
And I still remember...
Remember like it was yesterday

It's hard to believe you're gone for good
I wish all this could be understood
It's like a dream, but I'm awake
why was it you the Lord had to take?

you were always so careful all the time
I don't understand why the best friend taken was mine
I know you'll watch over me day and night
I know you'll never let me out of your sight

It's hard to let go of someone so close
you were the friend I loved the most
Don't forget me wherever you are
someday we'll be together, until then- you're my angel and star

And let out a scream.

Why is this happening?
Dear God, tell me why-
The plane hit that building
And my love had to die.

It just isn't fair!
This cannot be true.
Let me see him one more time
And tell him, "I love you."

Who could make such a plan...
Such a terrible scheme?
Please, tell me it's not true
That it was all just a dream.


In Memory Of...

I remember all the things you used to say,
the way you could wipe my tears away.
I remember all the times we shared,
and I knew you were the only person who cared.

I remember always looking up to you,
when I needed advice, I knew yours was true.
Now, when I need help, I don't know what to do;
as fate would have it, I'm living life without you.

I wonder what would have happened that one night,
if I had gone with you, would I have had to put up a fight?
The selfish thoughts and selfish fears,
every time I think of it, I cry a thousand tears.

Why did it happen that late night?
The car wreck, the shattered windows
and lastly that bright light.
When you woke up, you felt ok,
but if they'd only known,
you would still be here today.

I know it's not just me you left,
and the pain I feel I just can't confess.
Your family, your loved ones, they hurt too;
they know what its like to bury you.

And the one possession that I kept
was the ring you gave me before you left.
So I keep this ring very close to my heart,
because it's the only way I know we'll never be apart.</span>

Your mother called from the hospital
With tears caught in her throat

The other driver was drunk,
He was across the yellow line
Your cars hit head-on
And both of you had died

Now I stand here crying
At your quiet grave
Thinking that I would happily give my life
To kiss your sweet lips... one last time

They told me you had died

I want you back so badly...
But now, there’s nothing I can do

How did I not see your pain,
Before you put the gun to your head?
Is there anything, I could have done
That would have prevented you from being dead?

You thought that no one cared
But look back, at all the tears
You affected so many lives
And will for many years...

You had the most gorgeous smile...
Brighter than anyone I know
You always seemed so happy
Or was it all a show?


Were you really crying inside,
With no one to understand your pain?
But taking your life... I don’t understand
What were you hoping to gain?

Your voice was so incredible
So beautiful and strong...

Your eyes had a special sparkle
However, they always lied

a smooth, black pebble
darkness caressed by the sea
shingled over and over

a stone cold
until held close

deep as the depths of forever



Skyscrapers

Cresting the skyway brow
Suddenly there stands a crowd
A host of gleaming towers
Black at the roots
Nematodes
Shriveled in their shadows, walking

Wild Einstein clouds
Expound from shocking top corners
Falling, falling relatively through blue

As I did for you

Time expands, reeling
Space folds down, diminished
To strings and wormholes
Without your warm, certain presence
In three, wholesome dimensions

I am all at sea with these buildings
Unless you anchor me
You, my gravitational constant
Telling me up from down

I've Seen My Kitchen Sink

I've seen my kitchen sink.
I saw my garden rose.
I'm not sure why my eye drops
but I think my nostril knows.

I've had a root beer float.
I've watched a lemon drop.
I've listened to a ginger snap
and heard a soda pop.

I've seen a hot dog stand.
I saw a salad bowl.
I've even seen a pretzel twist
and watched a dinner roll.

I've seen a great home run.
I saw a big house fly.
I've even seen a barefoot race
and watched a bolo tie.

I've seen a long ski jump.
I've heard a loud bell hop.
I saw a birthday party
and I watched an antique shop.

I've seen a belly dance.
I've seen a quick fox trot.
I think that's what my chain saw
but I'm sure my rope did knot.

Pet Shopping
While shopping at the pet store
I got my fondest wish.
I bought myself a fish bowl
and then a pair of fish.

And since I was already
out shopping at the store
I thought I ought to purchase
another smidgen more.

And so I got a rabbit,
a hamster and a frog,
a gerbil and a turtle,
a parrot and a dog.

I purchased an iguana,
a tortoise and a rat,
an eight-foot anaconda,
a monkey and a cat.

A guinea pig, a gecko,
a ferret and a mouse,
and had them all delivered,
directly to my house.

My sister went berzerko!
She's now installing locks,
because I said her bedroom
would be their litter box!

I am Merlo the Magnificent
I'm skilled at sleight of hand.
I'm a master prestidigitator;
greatest in the land.

Yes, at making things invisible
I'm truly the premier.
There is nothing that I cannot make
completely disappear.

I have hidden doves and rabbits
in the lining of my cloak.
I've concealed my stage assistant
in a camouflage of smoke.

I've evaporated elephants,
put tigers out of view.
I've disguised the Eiffel Tower
and the Wall of China too.

I have made a mountain vanish
and an ocean fade from sight.
I've eclipsed the midday sun
to turn the afternoon to night.

I'm undoubtedly the best
at getting things to disappear,
so would someone please explain this to me:

Rain

The rain hits me,
yet, it slices through my body,
